Jim and Rhonda Desmond have been Romancing the Dance of marriage for 22 years. Not perfectly, but joyfully with Christ at the helm. They have served to counsel many couples through marriages’ challenges.
They are trained through Called To Obedience Ministries. “Making Disciples Who Make Disciples”
Jim is a graduate of the Crossway Chapel Pastor’s Leadership Institute
Jim and Rhonda love using the creative arts to reach people for Christ.
Rhonda is a script writer with a BA in English and Literature and a background in Ballet and Adagio.
Jim is business owner, actor and professional dancer that has been teaching for 40 years. He has achieved:
- U.S. Open Professional Dance Champion
- Wisconsin State Open Professional Standard, Latin, Ballroom and Rhythm Champion
- U.S. Open Pro-Am Latin and Rhythm Champion
- U.S. Open Swing Dance Finalist
- U.S.D.C Top Teacher Award
Jim has served:
- 7 years as Church Treasurer, 8 years as Elder on the Financial Advisor Board
- 4 years as Board member of Wilmington & New Hanover County Arts Council
- Rhonda and Jim have served as:
- Church Plant Team for Crossway Chapel Wilmington, NC
- Leaders of UNCW College ministry
- Founders and Leaders of Crossway Chapel Drama Ministry
- Life Group Leaders
